Overhung Eccentric Slotter is a type of slotting machine used in metalworking. It is designed to cut slots into metal parts, typically for the purpose of creating a keyway or other type of slot. The machine consists of a base, a headstock, and a table. The headstock holds the cutting tool, which is typically a slotted cutter. The table is used to hold the workpiece in place while the cutting tool is moved across it. The cutting tool is driven by an eccentric cam, which is connected to the headstock. The eccentric cam causes the cutting tool to move in an arc, allowing it to cut slots in the workpiece. This Overhung Eccentric Slotter is commonly used for high-precision and intricate slotting operations.
